Sender ID/ Sender Name / Header of an sms sent through a bulk sms gateway results in 2 letter prefix for promotional message as well as transactional messages. The sms prefix is seperated by a hyphen. Find the prefix details just by enterng the 2 letter sms prefix value in the below box.

Promotional SMS: A message with promotional content which includes all offers and ads related to business services. Sample format of promotional messages is PQ-XYYYYY, where 'P' stands for service provider name, 'Q' for location, X for preference code allotted by TRAI (as shown in the below chart) and YYYYY is the 5 digit telemarketer id alloted to registered telemarketers by service provider.
